One can lay around the beach all day indulging themselves in a long day swimming or even a colourful, cooling cocktail at the beach bar, or if one is into sports can use one of the many athletic facilities that provide the guests with all kind of activities, leisure and fun!
Night life in Gran Canaria:
Gran Canaria features night elements of fun, vividness and amusement. Nightlife actually starts late and goes on all night with most bars opening until 2.00 a.m. and discos and clubs usually until 6.00 a.m. in the morning. Few things happen before midnight. But if you are staying in Las Palmas, the place to go is Plaza de España in the Mesa y Lopéz district, or the "Vegueta", the old district around the Kathedral of Santa Ana. In this areas you`ll find a lot of stylish and modern bars, pubs and discos.

Commonly known as the “miniature continent, due the natural environment that the island has, Gran Canatia offers lots of opportunities to discover the rich landscapes of the interior or the spectacular areas along the coast, for example on a Mountain-bike, on the back of a Horse or a Camel, in a Jeep, Minimoke or by Bus. You also have the possibility to discover the island from a helicopter!

Gran Canaria has a long mercenary tradition because of the activity of its port, which was a free port until the accession of Spain to the EU. Through this very port, the island has been supplied with different goods from all continents, including goods that have been rear to find in other parts of the European continent. In addition, Gran Canaria´s position as a tourist destination has offered to the island a great privilege in a commercial point of view. Commerce has reached a high level of development on the island, being based mainly on a potential market of almost 4.5 million people, including the resident population, tourists and visitors.

Around the tourist-centres of the island one can have many choices between Fun & Theme-Parks. Waterparks, a Western-Theme-Park, Palmitos Park with parrots and lots of plants, a Crocodile-Park or a Reptile-Park, Open-Air-Museums and Fun-Parks are open every day of the year for a nice day out.
