Itinerary
The tour begins in Maspalomas/Playa del Inglés. We will drive on the highway to the north.
- Arrive in Las Palmas. Discover the historical old town Vegueta. Visit one of Europe’s most beautiful urban beaches Las Canteras and some “hidden” but wonderful place in the city.
- Drive to Arucas. Here you can choose between these two options:
[expand title="option 1"]Visit the Arehucas rum factory. Here you can learn the process of making rum and taste 21 kinds of products. Entry fee 2,5 Euro.[/expand][expand title="option 2"]Visit the imposing neo-Gothic church of San Juan Bautista (usually referred to as "The Arucas cathedral"), take a stroll through the neoclassical streets and enjoy walking in the Parque de Las Flores (Flower park).[/expand] - We’ll visit a private banana plantation where you can see and learn the weirdest facts about bananas that maybe you don’t know.
- A cruise to Teror. Discover the island religious center. Visit the famous Basilica of the “Virgen del Pino” (patron saint of Gran Canaria)
[expand title="entry fee"]Please note that visiting Basilica between 13 and 15 hours cost 1,5 Euro.[/expand]. Stroll through the romantic and lovely streets with their post-colonial architecture and look at its beautiful balconies carved from Canarian pine. - Our route continues towards Bandama crater. On arrival, you can enjoy the majestic view of the 1000 m wide and 200 m deep volcanic crater, as well as Las Palmas and the northern area.
- Finally we will visit the botanical garden Jardín Botánico Canario “Viera y Clavijo”
• Plus many more great views, landmarks along the way.
• Relax during the journey back to your hotel, where the tour concludes.

- Dress for the weather, bring thin sweater or jacket because it can be cooler in higher places. Comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, hat and water are recommended.
- A full day tour is not recommended for children under 4 years.
