➣ During the tour we offer you snacks (tiny meal), half a liter of chilled mineral water and a “homemade cocktail”.
If you think you will need more than the snack during the tour, we ask you to bring something (snacks or sandwiches) with you.
This tour is neither a hike nor a climb, but there will be uneven, rocky sections along the coast and at the natural pools. During the winter months (December to March), it is highly recommended to bring a jacket and long trousers, as the coast is usually windy and gets colder at sunset. Even in summer, we recommend bringing a thin jacket.

Natural pools
On this tour you will discover 4 unique natural (lava) pools along the wild north coast, which are mostly only visited by locals. At the 3rd location (weather and tide permitting) you’ll also have the opportunity to swim in the natural pool (30 minutes) and take some great photos. Brave enough? Go for a quick swim – trust us, the Instagram stories alone are worth it! 😉
If you’d like to go in the water, please bring a change of dry clothes and a towel (to keep our vehicles clean).

The Lighthouse
The bright red guardian of the Atlantic. There are 6 lighthouses on Gran Canaria. One of them is the Northwest Lighthouse. It stands proudly against a backdrop of roaring Atlantic waves at high tide and glassy, dark blu waters at low tide. Here, the sea crashes into volcanic rock with a roar that’ll make your heart race. Snap that windswept selfie, soak in the raw power of the ocean.
This place is a geological time machine, where the rugged, ancient volcanic rock meets the salty spray of the ocean.

Natural sand beach
The next stop on our tour is one of the few natural sand beaches on the north coast. This yellow sand beach is very charming and pleasant. You can stroll along the beautiful promenade or refresh yourself at a bar. The sand on this beach is magnificent, the views of the northern cliffs of Gran Canaria are breathtaking. You can also admire an example of cave life in Gran Canaria. And countless beautiful photo opportunities await you here.

Where mountains meet the Atlantic
Dragon’s Tail Viewpoint
Buckle up for a jaw-dropping drive along the wild west coast – think twisty roads, huge cliffs, and heart-thumping ocean views. Our scenic drive takes you along the untamed west coast of Gran Canaria, where towering cliffs meet the Atlantic Ocean. We’ll interrupt our journey for a short photo break, offering you the chance to take your pre-sunset photos of the epic landscape at an “unofficial” viewpoint.
And then… the grand finale
Mirador del Balcon Sunset
Capture the beauty of the Atlantic sunset!
At golden hour, we arrive at the breathtaking Mirador del Balcón viewpoint. It is located about 300 meters above sea level on the west coast of Gran Canaria. The cliffs drop away beneath your feet, and the ocean stretches endlessly west. As the sun sinks into the horizon in a blaze of color, time stops. Just you, the sky, and the silence.
Please note! We have no influence on the weather. The west coast is usually cloudless, but sometimes clouds obscure the sun. In this case, we still have a great opportunity to admire the magnificent colors in the sky.

Chilled mineral water and soft drinks are available at favourable prices throughout the tour. - Dress for the weather! Bring a thin sweater or jacket because it can be windy along the coast (and cooler, especially in the winter months). Comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses and hat are recommended.
- The tour is not recommended for children under 5 years.
- We don’t mix languages on our Full Day Tours. Each tour will be in one main language.
